Reduced down time - reduced parts replacement!
RR Valve, Inc. was established to bring metallurgical and mechanical enhancements to the Reset Relief Valve (RRV) market.
Our valve's metallurgy resists erosion and corrosion, demonstrating high
reliability over extended periods of time.
Many of the our competitor's valves today are made so that that "spare parts" end up as the majority of the valve's cost over its life time. The most commonly replaced metal parts in RRV's of this type have been either upgraded or eliminated in our product.
RR Valve recommends no spare parts for the first 2 years
of service, regardless of number of set-offs!
The use of solid Inconel pistons and outer seal retainers means that spares will be required far less often than if these parts made of more common materials. The inner seal and seal retainer have been eliminated. The use of beefed-up internal links, pins, and cranks is intended to keep spare part requirements to a minimum as well as create a more reliable and stable mechanism. Our investment cast body, bonnet, and cover are also made of superior materials with an advanced process for increased corrosion resistance, strength, integrity, and reliability.
Quality
Control...from start to finish!
Because RR Valve controls manufacturing from beginning to end, enhanced metallurgical materials are a mainstay of our valve line. Body, bonnet, cover, and internals are available in Inconel, Bronze, Hastalloy, and alpha-beta aerospace Titanium 6AL-4V alloys.
Simplicity of engineering will be immediately apparent to those familiar with these valves. Thru-holes for high strength cap screws and nuts attach the stainless steel cover and bonnet thus allowing easy access and replacement without worry of broken bolts. Easy
Installation means a faster return to production!
Installation of our newly designed upper links can be made without attention to the lower link knob location. These links can be replaced upside down or backwards without affecting the operation of the valve. The pins for the piston, linkage, and crank assembly have been made 50% larger than in any other RRV on the market today. The crank has been redesigned to improve the strength for longevity and for much more stable and consistent calibration and operation.
The Inconel outer retainer and patent pending essentially solid piston design with enclosed exhaust port provides superior resistance to abrasion flow as well as corrosion resistance. The sub no longer has any protrusion nub to wear or break.
Pressure adjustments and reset button replacement can be made with pliers or a crescent wrench. No special tools are required.
